We develop programs in all of the standard platforms (C++,VB, Java, and the new .NET platform languages).
Client server
Databases offer by far the most cost-effective and powerful access to large-scale information management available today. In the client server model, virtually all processing takes place on the server. This makes for a much faster, robust, and more secure environment for data. Our consultants are well-versed in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and Sybase database systems.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Services
Customer relations’ management is very important in every agency whether large or small and a CRM consulting service can help with this aspect. Our CRM consulting services can also help find cutting edge solutions that can improve the productivity of the agency as a whole. Our CRM consulting service can also help by organizing information and redesigning the agency around the customers’ needs. Our CRM consulting services will also help re-engineer the work processes and select software that will aid the agency.

IPv6 Transition and Implementation
Our IPv6 consulting practice offers support to customers planning IPv6 migrations, including federal agencies that need to address interim milestones set forth by their agency transition plans or other federal initiatives. These consulting services include inventory data gathering, Inventory data analysis, transition risk analysis, and transition cost/impact analysis. Our consultants will analyze enterprise requirements to create a deployment report and implementation plan.
Network Infrastructures
We provide services related to all basic and advanced communications products (including hardware and software, network architectures, and network administration services) to meet customer networks, data, and Internet Protocol (IP) requirements. Our engineers employ tactics of WAN Optimization supplying efficient and cost-effective ways to improve application performance on a network and enhance the user experience without purchasing expensive bandwidth.
Storage Devices, Associated Equipment & Supporting Software
CNS is staffed with EMC, NetApp and Hitachi storage experts who can provide our clients with timely and innovative solutions. We evaluate and integrate all forms of storage devices together with supporting software, including Storage Attached Networks (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Direct Access Storage (DAS) and tape to help customers resolve all storage needs. CNS provides administrative and programming support for all such software and hardware.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuance Operations
As part of our disaster recovery and business continuance operations services, CNS incorporates all methodologies in the information technology context pertaining to disaster recovery and business continuity. The range of recovery services under this functional area covers the spectrum from partial loss of function or data for a brief amount of time to a "worst-case" scenario in which a man-made or natural disaster or IT failure results in the loss of the entire IT enterprise.
Servers, Software, Local and Wide Area Networks
We have performed design, implementation, maintenance, and management of all forms of servers, enterprise servers, and other peripherals included within LAN or WAN IT architecture. Our service delivery includes testing, installing, deploying and maintaining a wide variety of Operating Systems (OS) environments and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products required to support existing or planned automated information systems (AIS) applications.

Project Management
The purpose of the CNS Project Management Plan (PMP) is to develop and establish a sound basis for task order execution, and to establish the basis for the necessary processes for managing and controlling the scope, schedule and performance of the task. The CNS PMP documents task resources, structure, deliverables, and task schedule. One element of our project management approach that has contributed greatly to our success is our consistent development and use of the PMP. Each PMP details the tasks and activities to be performed, the resources required to perform the tasks, the timelines for task durations and the deliverables to be provided and other key milestones that occur during the task.
The CNS standard project management and service delivery processes and methodologies are based on a combination of industry standards and commercial best practices; specifically, the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)-compliant Project Management methodology version 2 (PM2); the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and Lean Six Sigma.
Risk Management
We recognize that identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and security associated with projects of any size are crucial elements to meeting cost and schedule requirements. CNS incorporates risk management as an integral part of every project. We document the status of our risk management program in the status reports, and iteratively assess, prioritize, mitigate, and monitor risk for the life of the project. CNS will analyze and evaluate deliverables and identify risks associated with critical deliverables at project initiation. Once identified, each risk will go through a thorough analysis and prioritization process. Our management team will determine a probable mitigation strategy and present it to our clients. The final strategy will be implemented, monitored, and the progress reported in the weekly status report. Identifying problems, issues, and security elements are part of the risk mitigation plan.
Problem/Issue Identification, Tracking, & Resolution
Effective problem/issue control involves identifying, prioritizing, tracking, and resolving issues quickly. Our staff will accomplish this by resolving problems/issues at the lowest possible project level. We expect that our technical staff will resolve most problems/ issues without the need for escalation. However, if problem/issue arises that requires higher decision making authority, we will escalate them to our client with are commended resolution(s) and supporting analyses (e.g. root cause analysis, etc.). Our management will discuss the problem/issue with the client to determine a course of action, implement the action plan, track our progress, and report the results in the weekly status report. Problems/issues will be tracked in an issue management database, and tracked to closure by the CNS management.
Quality Assurance (QA)
CNS is committed to the delivery of superior services and solutions driven by our in-depth knowledge of customer requirements and a commitment to high quality execution. Our quality assurance practices include a disciplined approach to process management, performance metrics and satisfaction indicators that are linked to customer priorities. The goal of Quality Assurance is to objectively evaluate adherence to the designated processes, applicable standards, associated work products, and contract requirements. Quality Assurance’s activities are planned and documented, performance is measured, records are maintained and in the event of deficiencies, corrective action is initiated. These QA processes, objectively evaluate the critical work products, services, and standards. Quality Assurance provides an objective insight into the processes and ensures conformity with established contractual standards.
